My name is Teshome Beyene Bedane, I am 63 years, I live in Adama, Ethiopia. I was diagnosed with Liver cancer in August 2019 (Hepatocellular carcinoma -HCC). I consulted multiple gastroenterologist specialist doctors about my options of treatment in Nairobi, Kenya and also by sending my medical report to different specialized doctors and hospitals in India. Then my son in-law friend Doctor from Aga khana hospital Nairobi recommended Dr. Hitesh Chavda. I send my medical report to Dr. Hitesh Chavda, after checking my medical reports Dr. Hitesh Chavda told me that he wants to diagnose and discuss with me in person regarding my treatment options. I flew from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Ahmedabad, India with my daughter on 2nd October 2019.

After running some blood test and CT scan image, having a surgery to remove the tumor in my condition is very difficult and will complicated my health and I was also diagnosed with HCV (Hepatitis C) and cirrrhosis. My first option was to have a liver transplant and second option was RFA and chemotherapy (TACE). After discussion with my family I decided to take second option. Dr. Hitesh Chavda is the one who bring Dr. Rozil Gandhil (Interventional Radiology) who did both the RFA and TACE procedure, the procedure went without any complication. They kept me 2 days at the hospital after the procedure and discharged after total of 12 days stay in Ahmadabad I flew back to my country. Again on 2nd March, 2020 I came back to Ahmadabad second time for the same procedure. In my entire procedure journey Dr. Hitesh Chavda was there. He is very friendly, concern and supportive- that makes everything better and I always be grateful to Dr. Hitesh Chavda and his team.
