A hernia happens when an organ in your body pushes through the layers of muscle that surround it. A doctor may recommend surgery to repair a hernia that has become painful. Our center repairs a variety of hernias, including two common abdominal hernias: the inguinal hernia and the ventral hernia. We also repair femoral, umbilical, incisional , hiatal and other hernias.
