I have been treated at the HCG Multi Specialty Hospital Ahmedabad and undergone four surgeries for colon cancer that had metastasized to the liver which required major liver surgery and I write to document my experience.

My first Surgery was to last 11 hours and I was naturally very nervous before the operation. However, the Surgeon Dr Hitesh Chavda and his team were available to answer any questions and they convinced me that they would ensure my safety during surgery. The theatre team was also warm and friendly. This warm experience was replicated the four times I underwent surgery and subsequent treatment at the HCG Multi Specialty Hospital.

The doctors and nurses both in theatre and the wards were friendly and supportive. They were patient, compassionate, kind and efficient when answering questions and made my stay comfortable. In addition, they encouraged me to fight and not to give up and I felt secure in their hands- the reason I went back to be under their care those four times.
